Note-Taking From Lecture (Full Lesson)
This full lesson pack will teach your students how to take notes from what you are saying instead of just copying what is written on the board.
Try this out with advanced students taking college-level courses or with any class that already has a copy of the class notes in front of them.
This is also a great way to turn a lecture into something more interactive.
Best Practice: Incorporate this note-taking style into future lessons after teaching this skill. Ask students to compare their notes at the end of a lecture to see which ideas both wrote down and which were missed. Remind students of the skill often.
